Hello everybody!

Here are the details for tomorrow’s dragonboating event!

Meeting place would be Lakeside MRT Station @12.30pm. Please be punctual and do not keep everybody waiting. We’ll take a short walk from there to Jurong Lake, whereby the event will take place.

Please wear something comfortable and remember to bring an extra set of clothes !

Your $10 deposit will be fully refunded after you’ve attended the event. That means if you’ve already paid up and did not attend the event, you will not get your money back.

ONE LAST NOTE !

I know many of you have not paid up and neither respond to my notifications. I’ve already mentioned that this event is compulsory. As long as I don’t received any notifications of your attendance, there’ll be a need for $10 compensation fee. This event has already been booked before hand, so you decide !

If you are intending to go for the event and have yet to pay up, just drop me a text and bring your money tomorrow!

Hello everybody!

The events department has come up with a new programme for everybody. We have decided to venture out and have an outdoor activity this time round

And we’ll be having a dragon boating event !

This will be a compulsory event and I’m expecting all of you to turn up. Its not an option because its requires the involvement of the club. Should you have any reasons of not attending this event, please contact me or Eng Houw personally.

I know many of you will be moaning, whining and etc. It will be fun, and you can also train your arm strength too! It will come in handy when you need to do stunts :p

And here are the details of the event! So make sure that you are available on that day !

Date : 20th Sept 2011, Tuesday

Time : 1 pm – 4pm
- There is a need for some procedures to be done before the start of the event.
- Details on when and where to meet will only be released on the 15 Sep. Do remember to check your emails for updates!

Venue : Jurong Lake

Attire : Sports wear.
- Do not wear light coloured clothings
- Do remember to bring an extra set of clothings

Payment : $10 deposit per person
- Do note that the money will be fully funded back after you attend this event. So basically, you are learning a new sport for FREE
- Deadline for payment would be 15 Sep, so do remember to pass your money to Chiew Hui

I know many of you may be concern about the water safety. Fret not!
The trainers are well-trained and qualified in life saving, and there will be a need for everybody to have their life vest throughout the event

Hello people!

Its been long ever since this was updated !

So about 1 month ago ..

2 couples participated in the 13th SGDF Nationals on 30th July @ Hougang CC and they have made SPDS proud with their capabilties!

1. Martin & Adeline
2. Gnin & Sharlene

Well done to the both couples! Your efforts have been paid off, do continue to work harder!

And in total, we have 4 gold, 2 silvers & 1 bronze

Well done to all competitors of the 3rd TDA Dancesport Championships!

I’m sure that all of you have enjoyed the whole process and have given your best efforts. You guys did a really great job for today! Dancers, keep working hard and bring SPDS to greater heights

Congrats to all the winners ! Have a good rest for tonight, because all of you deserve it

Meanwhile, I believe many of you will be mugging hard for MSTs after this comp. All the best for your exams!

This is regarding about the competition tomorrow !

Please remember to bring your necessities such as your hair gel, shirts & pants(Guys) and make up & costumes(for the ladies). And most importantly, do not forget your DANCE SHOES!

We’ll be meeting at 8.15am at Dover MRT before proceeding as a group to head to Ngee Ann Poly together! Please be punctual! As for ladies/guys who wish to do your hair/makeup in SP first, we’ll meet at 7.00am at Dover MRT.

Hello everyone!

I’m here to update the blog with the recent FO day camp.

There was a mock competition to kickstart the 1st day of camp, followed by a series of fun filled activities installed for the campers. There was also a BBQ session on day 2 at SP’s Moberly.

I would like to thank all the seniors who helped out in this 2 days (13 June – 14 June) for all their efforts in making this camp a success. Its great working with all of you and you guys have done an awesome job! Keep this spirit going

And of course, not forgetting the juniors who participated in this day camp. I hope that all of you have enjoyed yourselves with the activities that were planned out and bonded with each other. All of you have been an enthusiastic bunch of people in this camp, so keep the passion going !
